Hi, and welcome to Cocoa & Pearl Bakery, a woman veteran-owned small business in Annapolis, Maryland. We specialize in handmade, from-scratch pastries and more, and we bring these yummy treats right to you on the waterfront or in the mooring field aboard our restored crab fishing boat, Honey Bun.
My name is Hannah, and I grew up sailing in Annapolis with my family. I remember the cold, shelf-stable breakfasts my parents would pack for our weekends on the water. We would have glorious spring and summer days sailing, swimming in the Bay, playing board games, and laughing into the night, just to wake up to a pop tart and juice box for breakfast. As an adult with my own family that loves to be on the water, I’m rewriting those mornings. At Cocoa & Pearl, we're creating an environment for my family and our community in which we wake up to the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls wafting from a beautiful Cocoa & Pearl Bakery box — delivered right to our very own boats.
After six years in the US Coast Guard, I attended pastry school — where I was valedictorian of my class — and I honed my skills at a busy Boston bakery before my family and I returned to our Annapolis roots. Now, we're bringing Cocoa & Pearl Bakery to life, and we can't wait to sweeten your mornings.
